My life with Goering

Subject:Unutterable nonsense from a fool

I didn’t expect Göring’s wife to say anything against him, such as mentioning his drug use or admitting he was a war criminal, but I did hope for ... something reasonably interesting to read about the times.
Throughout Emmy comes off as spoiled, selfish, entitled, and frankly, dumb as a toast rack.
She lies about so many things. To name two, she claims they did without like the rest of the Germans and also denies things she did to flaunt luxury such as wearing ermine and a tiara in Vienna. We have photographs, many of which are online.
She is obsessed with luxury, contiuously mentioning jewels while claiming she doesn’t care about jewellery.
She claims Hitler made sure she always had beefsteak to eat while the rest of his dinner guests had vegetarian dishes. She happily accepted and ate this expensive, delicious meat while others ate as he did. This is highly instructive of just how unutterably entitled and superior this woman is. No wonder Göbbels
